Social Media Marketing
The Short Answer
Social media marketing means using social platforms so that the people who buy what you sell can find you, trust you and choose you. It covers deciding what to say, creating and publishing the content, replying to your audience and measuring what it brings. It can be organic, meaning free reach from your own posts, or paid, meaning adverts, and the strongest plans use both.
It is not posting a design every day. A page with thousands of followers and no enquiries is a cost, not an asset. We start from the customer you want, the question they have and the action you want them to take, and then build content that moves them there.
Social media also works best alongside your other channels: SEO reaches people who are already searching, paid advertising reaches new audiences quickly, and a strong social presence builds the trust that makes both work better.
Plain Language
Agencies use these words loosely. Here is what each one means in practice.
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| Social media marketing | The whole effort: strategy, content, community and measurement across your platforms. |
| Social media management | The day-to-day running of your accounts: planning, publishing, replying and reporting. Often used to mean the same service. |
| Community management | Replying to comments and messages, handling complaints and building a relationship with your followers. |
| Content marketing | Creating useful or entertaining content that attracts customers. Social media is one place to share it. |
| Organic social | Posts that reach people without paying. How far they travel depends on how people respond to them. |
| Paid social | Adverts on social platforms, bought by audience, goal and budget. See our paid advertising service. |
| Influencer marketing | Paying creators to present your brand to their audience. In Saudi Arabia this needs a licence, as explained below. |
| Social listening | Monitoring what people say about your brand, competitors and topic, so you can respond and learn. |
| UGC | User-generated content: photos and videos made by customers, or by creators in a customer-style voice, used in posts and adverts. |
Where to Show Up
Being on every platform is rarely the answer. Choose the ones where your customers already spend time, and do them well.
These are advertising reach estimates from each platform’s own tools, reported by DataReportal, Digital 2026 Saudi Arabia. They are not monthly active users.
| Platform | What people use it for | Content that works | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Snapchat | Quick daily updates and discovery, with a young audience | Short vertical video, Stories, behind the scenes, offers | Content disappears quickly, so it needs frequent fresh posts |
| TikTok | Entertainment and discovery | Native-style short video, trends adapted to your brand, creator-style content | Polished ads often underperform, and ideas matter more than budget |
| Visual browsing, brand image, shopping and direct messages | Reels, carousels, Stories, highlights and proof of your work | Your profile is your shop window, so the look must stay consistent | |
| X | News, conversation, events and customer service | Quick updates, replies, announcements and live event coverage | Complaints are public, so fast and calm replies matter |
| YouTube | Learning and longer viewing | Explainers, tours, case videos and Shorts | Slower to build, but videos keep working for a long time |
| Business credibility, recruitment and expertise | Company news, case stories, expert posts and hiring | Needs real people and real expertise, not generic posts | |
| Local communities, events, groups and existing page followers | Posts, events, groups, lead forms and messenger | Check that your customers still use it before investing heavily |
Which platforms come first depends on who you sell to, how they decide and how much content you can produce well. We recommend a small number of platforms to start, and add more only when the first ones are running smoothly.
Choose by Goal
Six common goals and how we usually approach each.
Content that answers the questions buyers ask, a clear WhatsApp or call button on every profile, and paid posts that reach people who already engaged.
A teaser, launch and follow-up plan: countdown content, a first look for followers, local targeting and quick replies in the first weeks.
A clear visual style, tone of voice and templates, so every post looks like it comes from one brand.
Community management with agreed reply times, a handoff to WhatsApp and a plan for complaints.
Product content, shopping features, creator videos and retargeting, connected to the tracking in your store.
Proof content: real work, reviews, behind the scenes and expert explanations that answer doubts before they are asked.
What We Do
Eight connected services. The audit decides which ones matter most for you.
We review your accounts, competitors and audience, then set goals, platforms, tone of voice and a monthly plan.
A monthly calendar built around content pillars, seasons and offers, approved by you before anything is published.
Posts, carousels, Reels and short videos in your brand style, with Arabic text and subtitles.
Profiles, bios, highlights and links set up properly, with scheduled publishing on each platform.
Replies to comments and messages within agreed hours, with a handoff to WhatsApp or your sales team.
Adverts that extend your best posts to new audiences, planned with our paid advertising team.
Choosing licensed creators, briefing them and measuring what they bring.
Monthly reports tied to enquiries, plus monitoring of mentions of your brand and competitors.
Content
We plan every month around five content pillars, so your feed has a purpose and not only a schedule.
Answer the questions your customers ask before they buy.
Show real work, reviews and results you can document.
Introduce your team, process and the place behind the brand.
Share clear offers and seasonal promotions with simple terms.
Ask, reply, run polls and share customer stories.
| Content pillar | A clinic might post | A cafe might post |
|---|---|---|
| Educate | A short video answering a common question about a treatment | How a coffee is prepared, or how to choose a blend |
| Prove | A review shared with permission, or the doctor's credentials | Customer photos and a daily special in action |
| Show | A tour of the clinic and an introduction to the team | A morning in the kitchen |
| Offer | A seasonal check-up offer with clear terms | A Ramadan menu or a National Day offer |
| Engage | A question box answered by a specialist | A vote on the next menu item |
These are illustrations of the idea, not a template. The right mix depends on your business, your audience and what the first months show.
Arabic Content
Most Saudi audiences read Arabic first. Getting the language, tone and design right is where many accounts lose people.
Captions, hooks and replies are drafted directly in Arabic. English content is written separately for the audience that reads it.
Clear modern Arabic or a light Saudi tone, whichever suits your brand and audience, written down in a short tone guide so it never changes by accident.
Right-to-left layouts, readable fonts, text sized for a phone screen and subtitles on videos.
Chosen in Arabic and English to match how people search inside each platform.
Usually one account in the main language of your audience. A separate English account only makes sense when the audiences truly differ, and we decide this with you.
Ramadan, Eid, Founding Day, National Day, White Friday and school seasons are planned weeks ahead, not the week before.
Short Video
Short video is where much of the attention is, so it deserves a process and not a last-minute idea.
Start from the question or problem your viewer has, and put it in the first two seconds.
A short script, the shots we need and the permissions required before anyone films.
On your premises or elsewhere as planned, with written consent from the people who appear.
Edited with Arabic subtitles and sound, then cut to the format each platform prefers.
For logo animations, greeting videos and explainer motion graphics, see the video and animation section below. The same footage can be cut for social media.
Video and Animation
Moving visuals get attention in a crowded feed. We design them from your identity so they look like you.
A short animated reveal of your logo for the start or end of videos, with a sound that fits the brand.
Short animated greetings for Ramadan, Eid, National Day and your own launches or offers.
Simple animated explanations of a service, an app or a process, with Arabic voice-over or text.
Short films built around your identity, shot or animated, and cut for each platform.
| Use | Typical format | Where it works |
|---|---|---|
| Story or Reel | Vertical, short, with captions | Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube Shorts |
| Logo opener | Two to five seconds, square or wide | Start or end of any video |
| Greeting | Short, vertical and square versions | Social accounts and WhatsApp broadcasts |
| Explainer | Wide, with subtitles | Website, YouTube and sales presentations |
Animation starts with the brand. If you have guidelines, we follow your colours, fonts and logo rules. If you do not, our branding service can create them first. Ask us for examples close to your sector, and we will tell you plainly whether a video needs filming, animation or both.
Community Management
Many customers contact a brand through social media before they buy. A slow or careless reply can cost more than a weak post.
Organic and Paid Together
Relying on organic reach alone is slow, and relying on adverts alone is expensive. We plan both as one system.
Posts that earn real engagement organically are the best candidates for paid promotion.
Video viewers and profile visitors can be shown your offer later, within each platform's rules and consent requirements.
Organic posts show which ideas people respond to, so adverts start from evidence and not from guesses.
The advert side is run with our paid advertising team, with tracking set up so that you can see what each riyal brought.
Influencers
Creators can bring trust that a brand account takes years to build, but only when the match, the rules and the measurement are right.
Giveaways
Giveaways are popular on Snapchat and Instagram, but an unlicensed one can bring public naming and heavy penalties. These are the rules the Ministry of Commerce announced on 21 September 2025.
Violations are handled under the Anti-Commercial Fraud Law, with penalties that include public naming, prison terms of up to three years and fines of up to SAR 1 million, according to the Ministry (Ministry of Commerce and the Amlak summary). Rules can change, so confirm the current requirements with the Ministry before you launch. We plan the campaign so that the licence is secured first.
Measurement
Likes are easy to get and easy to buy. We report in three layers, so you can see whether attention turns into customers.
Are the right people seeing your content, and are they watching it through to the end?
Saves, shares and comments that ask real questions say more than a pile of likes.
Profile visits and tracked link clicks, so you can see who moves from content to your site.
Direct messages, WhatsApp clicks and chats started from social media.
Calls, forms and bookings that can be traced back to social media.
Where you share sales data, cost per customer and return on spend are reported next to the rest.
Social media often helps people decide before they enquire through another channel. So alongside the numbers above, we watch searches for your brand name and direct enquiries, and we recommend asking every new customer where they first heard of you.
Pricing
Prices vary widely because the work varies widely. Compare what is delivered, not the headline number.
For context, one Saudi agency publishes monthly packages from SAR 1,499 to SAR 4,000, where the number of designs and videos grows with each package (KMT). Those figures show why the deliverables matter more than the price: ask how many posts, videos and replies are included, and who is making them.
| Option | Strengths | Limits | Often best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Freelancer | Lower cost, direct contact and flexibility | One person covers strategy, design, video and replies, and the work stops if they are unavailable | Small, simple accounts with a clear brief |
| In-house marketer | Knows your business deeply and is always available | One skill set, plus hiring costs, and hard to cover video, design and ads at once | Brands with steady daily content needs |
| Agency | A team of strategist, writer, designer, video editor and ads specialist, with a process and reporting | Costs more than one freelancer and needs a clear brief and quick approvals | Brands that need several skills working together |
We send a written quote that lists what is included each month, and ad spend, if any, is paid directly to the platforms from your own account. Many clients keep an in-house marketer and use us for strategy, video and ads.
How It Works
You always know what is planned this month, what is published and why.
01
Week 1
Your goals, customers, current accounts and competitors, and what has worked before.
02
Week 1 to 2
Platforms, tone of voice, content pillars and goals, agreed in writing.
03
Week 2 to 3
A monthly calendar and the first posts, sent for your approval.
04
From week 3
Scheduled publishing, plus replies to comments and messages in the agreed hours.
05
Every month
We double down on formats that work and retire those that do not.
06
Every month
A plain-language report on what it brought and what we will do next.
Timeline
Organic social media builds gradually. Paid support can speed it up.
Month 1
Audit, strategy, profile setup and the first approved calendar. Your content library starts to grow.
Month 2
Regular publishing, replies within agreed hours and the first lessons on what your audience likes.
Month 3
We focus on what works, test new formats and add paid support where it makes sense.
Month 4 onward
More platforms, campaigns or creators, and seasonal plans made well in advance.
These stages are a guide, not a promise. Results depend on your sector, competition, how often and how well content can be produced, and how quickly approvals and replies happen. We report early signs every month so you can see direction before the biggest results arrive.
Rules
Most agencies skip this part, but it protects your brand and your business. This overview is practical, not legal advice.
Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law became fully enforceable on 14 September 2024. For direct marketing, organizations need prior opt-in and must offer an easy opt-out, and sensitive data cannot be used for marketing (CMS). This matters for contact details collected in messages, forms and giveaways.
Creators who appear in commercial ads need a Mawthooq licence, as explained in the influencer section above.
A licence from the Chamber of Commerce is required before a contest, and entry cannot depend on a purchase. See the giveaway rules above.
We use licensed music, fonts and images, because copyrighted material can get a post muted or removed. People who appear in videos and photos give written consent, and we respect each platform's policies.
Industries
The platform, the format and the tone change with how your customers choose.
Trust comes first: specialists explaining treatments, real reviews shared with permission, and careful claims. Instagram and Snapchat lead, with YouTube for explainers.
Food and atmosphere in short video, offers by season, and quick replies about bookings. Snapchat, TikTok and Instagram work together with Google Maps.
Project tours, progress updates and expert explanations, with lead forms and quick follow-up. Every listing carries the license number the regulations require.
Customers judge by past work, so portfolio videos, before and after stories and client walk-throughs carry the most weight.
Product videos, creator content, shopping features and retargeting, connected to your store's tracking.
LinkedIn and X for credibility, with case stories, expert posts and hiring content. Fewer followers, but each one matters more.
Local
We are based in Dammam and work with businesses in every region of the Kingdom.
People trust brands that look like their own city. A post that shows a familiar street, an area they know or a local occasion feels closer than a generic design.
The Eastern Province has its own mix of industrial companies, clinics, restaurants, real estate and services. We plan content around how your local customers talk and decide, and we can produce it from your area.
Transparency
Your followers and content are business assets. They should always belong to you.
Hiring Guide
Use this list on us too. We would rather you ask hard questions before you sign.
Followers can be bought, customers cannot. Fake numbers hurt reach and trust.
Nobody controls what goes viral. A promise like this is a warning sign.
A professional agency works through admin roles, so access can be removed cleanly.
Each platform has its own format, length and audience behavior.
You should see content before it goes out and be able to ask for changes.
Ask for messages, enquiries and sales next to the likes.
Posts that could belong to any brand do not build yours.
Posting without answering comments and messages wastes the attention you earn.
Fit
We would rather tell you now if we are not the right match.
If your brand identity still needs work, start with branding. If you need a better website to send people to, see our web development service.
FAQ
A complete service covers strategy and an audit, a monthly content calendar, writing, design and short video, publishing, replies to comments and messages, paid social if you want it, and a monthly report. The exact list depends on your plan, and we write it down in the quote so there are no surprises.
It depends on the number of platforms, how many posts and videos you need, the level of production, reply hours and whether paid social is included. One Saudi agency publishes monthly packages from SAR 1,499 to SAR 4,000, and the deliverables grow with each package. We send a written quote that lists exactly what is included, so you can compare it with any other offer.
The number is set in the quote and depends on your platforms and goals. We prefer a number you can sustain with good quality over a large number of weak posts, and we show you the full calendar before the month begins.
The ones where your customers already spend time. Snapchat, TikTok and Instagram suit visual products, restaurants, beauty and retail. LinkedIn and X suit business services. YouTube suits explanations. We usually recommend starting with two or three platforms and doing them well, and the platform table above shows what each is best for.
Directly. Arabic content is drafted in Arabic, in the tone you choose, and English content is written separately for the audience that reads it. Translation tends to produce wording that sounds stiff to a native reader.
Yes. We plan, script, shoot and edit short video with Arabic subtitles, and cut it to the format each platform prefers. For larger productions our video and animation team can help.
Organic social media builds gradually. Most accounts show a clearer rhythm and learning after the first two or three months, and stronger results after that. Paid support can bring faster visibility. We report early signs every month, such as reach, engagement, messages and enquiries.
No honest agency can. We do not control the algorithms, your market or your sales process. We commit to a clear plan, regular publishing, fast replies, transparent reports and continuous improvement.
No. Bought followers do not buy from you, they lower your engagement rate, and they make your real results harder to read. We would rather grow a smaller audience that responds.
You do. Accounts stay in your name with us as administrators, and the content we make for you belongs to you once the project is paid in full. If our work ends, we remove our access when you ask.
No. We work through admin and business-manager roles, so you never share a password and access can be removed cleanly at any time.
Yes. You receive the monthly calendar and the posts for approval with time to ask for changes. For urgent or reactive posts, we agree in advance who can approve quickly.
Yes, within the hours and target times we agree in advance, including Ramadan hours. We answer what we can, pass sales and sensitive cases to your team, and hand sales conversations over to WhatsApp.
We reply calmly and publicly within the agreed time, move the details to a private message or WhatsApp, pass anything that needs a decision to your team, and follow up until it is solved. We never delete fair criticism, and we hide only abusive or spam comments.
Yes, to a large extent. We use tracked links, WhatsApp click events and chats started from adverts, and we agree a simple way to record which new customers came from social media. Some conversations start in ways no tool can see, so we also recommend asking every new customer where they first heard of you.
Yes, together with our paid advertising team. Your ad budget is paid directly to the platforms from your own account, and our fee covers our work only.
A freelancer suits small, simple accounts, an in-house marketer suits steady daily content, and an agency suits brands that need strategy, design, video and ads to work together. Many clients keep an in-house marketer and use us for specialist work. The comparison table above sets out the strengths and limits of each.
Yes. Influencers and creators who appear in commercial ads in Saudi Arabia need a Mawthooq licence from the General Authority for Media Regulation, so we check it before signing anyone. We also agree deliverables, dates, usage rights and tracking in writing.
Yes, but it must be licensed. The Ministry of Commerce announced in September 2025 that an electronic licence from the Chamber of Commerce is required before a contest, the licence number must appear in the adverts, entry cannot depend on a purchase, and prizes must be delivered within seven days of the draw. The giveaway section above lists the full rules.
Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law requires prior opt-in for direct marketing and an easy way to opt out. We collect only what is needed, tell people how their details will be used, keep contact lists within your accounts, and avoid using sensitive data for marketing. This is not legal advice, so involve your lawyer for your own policies.
Yes. We start with an audit of your accounts, content and results, then tell you what to keep, improve or rebuild. Your followers and history stay with your accounts.
No. A small account with the right audience and a clear offer can bring more customers than a large account with an uninterested one. We focus on who follows you and what they do next, not only on the number.
Weeks ahead. Demand, wording and competition change in these periods, so we prepare ideas, offers, designs and videos early, adjust reply hours, and plan paid support where the numbers justify it. Afterwards we review what worked for the next year.
Yes. We plan the shots, schedule the visit and get written consent from anyone who appears. Shoots in Dammam, Khobar and elsewhere in the Eastern Province can be agreed in your quote.
Organic content builds trust and a content library, but its reach is limited and unpredictable. Adverts extend your best content to the right audience faster. Most brands that want steady results use both, and we plan them together.
There is no single number. It depends on the platform and on how much good content you can produce. Short video platforms reward more frequent posting, while a few strong posts a week can be enough elsewhere. We agree a rhythm you can keep up, and adjust it from the results.
In three layers: attention (reach and views), interest (saves, shares, quality comments, profile visits) and action (messages, enquiries and sales). The monthly report shows all three, so you can see whether attention is turning into customers.
Monthly social media management has a minimum of three months, because the first weeks are for strategy, setup and learning what your audience likes. Terms are written in the quote, and your accounts and files stay with you.
A named person who replies on WhatsApp and by phone, in Arabic or English. You are not passed between departments.
Yes. We make logo openers, greeting animations for occasions, explainer motion graphics and short brand videos, designed from your identity and cut for each platform.
Yes, and it should. We follow your guidelines. If you have none, we can create them first so every video looks consistent with the rest of your brand.
Tell us about your business, your audience and your goals. We will reply with the platforms we recommend, what we would publish and a written quote.
